Frontier
Frontier is a weekly from Calcutta that has, since 1968, provided a forum to progressive individuals and organizations working towards a socially and economic just India. Frontier receives very little advertising income and has been publishing, especially in the last decade or so, on a shoe-string budget. To continue bringing the progressive viewpoint to its readers, it needs the support of every individual who is concerned about the current state of affairs in India, where muli-nationals receive a red-carpet welcome, public sector is dimantled and sold to private businesses for a song, liberalization is the mantra of the day, and secularism is under assault.
